About us
Through our organization, we aim to connect young people from Ireland with their peers from other European countries, creating a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and learning. By fostering these connections, we hope young people will exchange knowledge and perspectives on pressing issues affecting them, such as climate change, employability, gender equality, entrepreneurship, and mental and physical wellbeing.
We are working to provide opportunities for youth to explore Europe, learn through non-formal education methods, and empower them to become more active citizens. We encourage them to take initiatives and contribute to their communities.
The key topics of our NGO are:
Promoting and enabling intercultural dialogue.
Bringing together young people and the European Union.
Promoting active citizenship.
Youth empowerment and youth participation.
Our goals include:
Providing international opportunities for young people, particularly international mobilities.
Soft-skill development and non-formal learning opportunities.
Promoting Erasmus+ among young people.
Connecting young people with stakeholders.
Promoting and offering quality internships.
Internationality is a key component of our activities because we believe that international opportunities and mobilities greatly enhance the professional and personal lives of young people.
Activities
We are a young NGO but our members have significant experience in the youth sector before. We are a young people ourselves, organizing programs for other young people, as we believe it’s the most effective way to reach youth and give real impact.
We are currently developing two short-term international mobility programs that we would like to hold in the Irish countryside. These are the following:
An Erasmus+ youth exchange about contemporary geopolitical problems. The objectives of the project and what we want to achieve is to create a safe space where participants will feel encouraged to talk about contemporary geopolitical and political problems including the push to think critically while being culturally aware, put participants in challenging positions (journalists, politicians) to contribute the activities which will result in written proof of their work, deepening already existent knowledge about global (geo)politics.
An Erasmus+ youth exchange about gender equality. Participants will gain valuable knowledge and practical skills to combat gender bias and stereotypes, empowering them to become advocates for gender equality. We hope great impact on the elimination of gender inequality in both education and work environment. The impact of the project will extend to the communities of the participants as they are encouraged to launch local campaigns and initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality.
Moreover, we are holding information sessions about Erasmus+ programs, particularly Erasmus+ youth exchanges and actively promote it on our social media too, as it is less known and less popular in Ireland compared to other European countries. We are working to make Erasmus+ accessible to as many young people as possible.
